Our location scouts collaborate closely with our producers, directors, and production designers to balance the ideal aesthetic choices for each location, with real world production logistics.

We believe a production’s physical location on screen influences a viewer’s reaction to the creative production in a multitude of ways, some subtle, others not so subtle. That’s why we work closely with the client to determine the perfect location for each scene, be it a real location or a set we create for a studio shoot.

Armed with extensive location databases and years of production experience, our location scouts seek sites that are practical for accessibility, electricity, noise levels, and other criteria. They present the client with photos, videos, and other pertinent information for the best location selections.

Professional Quality Photography Tip
Sense of Scale

Some products may not be easily recognizable by viewers. This is where giving a sense of scale can be very helpful. If you include an item in the image that people are familiar with, it can really help to visualize the size of the product. For example, if the product is a miniature doll, you could place an object like a standard sized pencil next to it, and give people a sense of scale.

St Louis Photographers | Visuals for Training Employees with photography and video

What a beautiful view of the arch from our recent photography and video shoot in downtown Saint Louis. We created a video and photography training manual for the courts building washing team. Highly specialized and technical instructions for employees and future new hires to learn step by step the proper methods. We shot for a full day from early morning to sunset. The most difficult part of the day was all the gorgeous shots we kept seeing and had to limit to the day at hand. But the team of two adhered to the schedule and completed the project on time and on budget for the Colorado producers of the training media.
