Use Creative Photography To Assist You With Designing Your Website

When many people hear the term “web design”, they often think of hours of time and energy spend writing long lines of code and creating graphical images for a website. Web design is easier than most people believe, and the web design tips in the following article will prove just that.

Creative Photography will help.

If you’re working on web design use the right graphics for the job. Remember, bitmap images are huge and usually don’t work well, PNGs work fine. For screenshots, text buttons, and other non-photographic images, use PNG if the image has more than 256 colors, and GIF if not. For photos, you can use JPEG images.

When you are creating new photos for your website, be sure to keep the file size small. If your graphics are too large, your page will load slowly and your visitors will leave. You can find many free or inexpensive graphics programs online that will optimize your images before you load them to your website.

Include unique pictures of your office space and workforce, instead of using stock photos all over your site. The more your visitors feel that they know who they are giving business to, the more likely they are to choose you over your competitors. This design tip can do more than you would think to boost your business.

Make sure that you include an “About Us” page on your site as you are designing it. Do not just add blocks of text that are boring to read – Jazz it up a bit! Provide background images, maybe include some photos of you as you work toward getting to the point where you are at today.  Shoot your products and services and show them in the best light.

As stated before, people think of hours of coding and creating images when they think about web design. They don’t realize that web design isn’t as complicated as they believe. Using creative photography will help you design a better website.

The still images and video shown in this recent post contain the branding images used throughout the client’s marketing program.  Many of the images are used to cross pollinate the internet, brochures and television.  We want to keep the customer’s brand consistent among all media.
